Well, off I go
I will not be going to the hospital as I thought. Dr & I decided to do the treatments first, so as to shrink the tumor, so that more of "me" can be saved when it's time to have *that* surgery. So I will be going tommorrow to get what is called a "Port". It's basically a device they put under your skin that allows the meds to go directly into an arterey, instead of sticking me in the arm all the time. Makes the meds work faster and more efficiently ( so I'm told).
I will be getting both Radiation & Chemo, so yours truly may look a little like Malvin when all is said and done. ( God- Scary!!!!) But this way we are using everything available to get what I now call "The Beast". I'm actually less nervous than I was- at least now I'm doing something, rather than pacing the floor!
I will not post about "this" all the time, Just thought you all would like to know what's up. Peace- KC
