Comming down the Home Stretch!
And I think I'll make it!
The tree is now decorated- well, sort of. The lights & tinsle are on, and some of the ornaments. The problem is I ran out of steam, and the only one putting on said ornaments was Kimmie. So only the bottom 1/3rd of the tree is complete. But I have all day today to finish the job. I have "gotten rid of" 2 out of the three kids, and plan to finish the tree, and wrap all afternoon. Now, I just have to get rid of the Teenager! Road trip to the mall? Perhaps.
I want all of this done because I go tommorrow to see a Radiologist. I don't know if I will be recieving radiation treatments (as well as Chemo),but my oncologist felt I should check with one though. Then Thursday I have to take a MUGA(?) test. It's basically a test to see if my heart is in good shape. Apparently, the Chemo that I will be on after surgery has a "slight" incidence of causeing heart problems if your's is not in good working order. GREAT! Now I have more to look forward to lol! Anyhow, I just want to make sure that I am done with shopping before I have to run into town for these appointments. That way, if needed, I can "kill 2 birds with one stone" so to speak. And I just recieved word from my Disability that I am now cleared through the end of January. One less problem to worry about, though I hope to be back to work by then! I have been told that Walgreens would hold my spot through March, but I really don't want to be gone that long! Plus, my actually disability pay will only stretch 'til the end of January, and I just can't see how we'd survive on just my Hubby's pay. If we could, I wouldn't really be working at all anyway! Oh well, no use worrying over something I can do nothing about at this point!
