I AM 58% INTERNET ADDICT!
I am pretty addicted, but there is hope. I think I'm just well connected to the internet and technology, but it's really a start of a drug-like addiction. I must act now! Unplug this computer!
Not suprising, concidering I'm stuck at home lately.
Well, I't finally feeling like winter down here. Temps down in the 40's at night, and we're supposed to have a freeze Weds. morning. I know, you all are just sobbing in your coffee's right about now! But it was 80 degrees not 2 days ago, so it's not like we have the chance to get "used" to the temps. I suppose that's why people get sick so fast down here. One day your in shorts, the next your wearing gloves lol!
Speaking of which, when the kids got dressed for school this morning, I found out that the only one with warm clothes that fit was Kimmie. My eldest doesn't even have a long sleeve shirt that fits! So instead of finishing up my Christmas shopping, I'll have to buy some warm clothes for everyone. Even Jon's flannel shirts are more suited for the "rag bin" than his back! Damn, that wasn't exactly in the budget, but the last thing I need right now is for anyone to get sick. With my immunity to germs at a low ebb, I'd have to stay away from them, and that is just not in my "Mommy" programming. I found out something else too, my head is really cold! I guess I never realized how much insulation hair really is!
Have you noticed how everyone seems to hate mondays? Is it perhaps because "Murphy" likes to drop in? He did this morning! Jon was taking a shower, and all of a sudden I heard a loud "Clunk" in the bathroom. It scared me because I thought he'd fallen or something, especially when I heard the "F*ckin' A!" comming from in there. It turns out, the shower head fell off. Well, not just the head, but the whole thing came out from the wall of the shower! We have one of those sunken tiled showers, which is now WORTHLESS! It looks like we'll have to tear out some of the tiles to fix it too. Looks like I'll have to put on my "Mrs. Fix-it" hat again, as my hubby is not exactly talented in that department. Just what I needed 2 days before Chemo. BLAH! He can just use the Kid's bathroom until I'm up to it!
A question before I leave you all. I'd like to play around with graphics- maybe figure out how to make some with flash or moving images ( Like Rhonda's Merry Christmas one). Do I need to buy a program for that, and if so, which one? Paint Shop pro perhaps? I'd hate to spend the money on one, and find out it's not what I need. So any advice you all could give would be appreciated! That's all for now, Have a good day! Love and Peace, KC
