Well, I made it through my first day back at work! My feet and back were killing me by the time I got home, but that will pass with time. And they got me a cake to welcome me back! How sweet is that?! We discussed my future Chemo treatments, and they are all in agreement that they will help me out however they can. Since the first one will not happen right away ( see last post), by the time they start to wear me down,I should have my vacation days to throw in if I need additional days off to regroup.It's nice to know that I finally have a place to work where the people really care. Makes it easier on me, let me tell you! Most other stores I have worked at, they would not be so tolerant- it would be either work your shifts, or "bye-bye!" And that is some peace of mind, let me tell you!
I'm off tomorrow, and I'll post more. I had a dream last night ( which a lot of you were in!) that I'll tell you about. But I'm due in in an hour, and I still have lunch to make, shirt to iron, you know- all the NORMAL shit for once!!!!!
