Anyone who thinks that having a week's vacation is relaxing has not
been living in my house! I swear, I'd've gotten more rest had
I been going to work.
Monday, as you all know, I went to WPB to the show. What a blast!
Both bands put on great performances- Do NOT be worried about
the "replacement" singer. Jeff Scott Soto is amazing! I hate to say
this ( because Journey fans will probably attack me) But I think Jeff
does the songs better that Steve A. did. Sorry- JMVHO here!
Back home on Tuesday, where I spent the day formatting my
pictures, laundry, and other assorted "mommy" details. Weds
I did a MAJOR cleaning. You know, down on the hands-and-knees scrubbing of floors ( instead of the mop!),Clean the carpets
( not just vacuum) etc. Dead flippin' exhausting. But at least
I can walk through my house with a smile ;-)
Yesterday, Becky and I worked on some "tech" stuff. Reloading
our i-Tunes, loading all the CD's I've purchased into my stereo,
and programming those into it. I have one of those Sony 300 CD
players, that have to be loaded, sequenced, and programmed.
I haven't done any of that in the last year. Oh, the CD's were put
in- but not in proper order ( alphabetically, then chronologically) for awhile! So all that had to be done. Since I was taking them
out to upload here, I figured doing both at once was easiest. So
running back and forth, unloading, rearranging and programming.
I was dizzy before all was said and done! But that's one of those
chores that needs the time, and motivation to get done.
Today, I'm heading into the "black hole" of my house- My closet!
I know I cleaned it out before ( actually, while I was home starting
my chemo) but time goes by- and the mess is back! So it's "purge"
time again- and I have 2 bags full of photos that we've amassed over
the years, and a pile of picture frames/albums. So hopefully I'll get
through them as well.
I do have one dilema. A whole shelf in my closet is taken up by the
box with my wedding dress. Now my Mom had it cleaned and packed
away after the wedding, but she said there are some stains on it
that wouldn't come out. And since it's a size 14, and both my
daughters would fit into it together with room to spare ( LOL),
I don't think they would use it. So do I throw it out- or see if anyone
would like it as a donation? I haven't even opened the box- and it's
been there for going on 22 years!? I'm DEFinately getting out of my
closet- but storage is a precious commodity around here. SOOOO-
What do you think? ( Also bear in mind, it's not a really classic
style dress- If I find a reasonable sized pic today- I'll scan and
post it!)
So that's been my week so far. With any luck- we'll get to the
movies this weekend. We're all dying to see "Pirates of the Carribean"
, so that will be my treat for getting all my "chores" done lol! And It
is friday- so a giggle or two for you all. These come from my buddy
from college Marshall:

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic
name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of
Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called
Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.
The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After
careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently
announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also
considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of
course, Ibepokin.
Pfizer Corp. also announced today that Viagra will soon be available in
liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage
suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally
pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft
drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs"
and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink". Pepsi will market the new
concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast
implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by
2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge
erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

HARHARHAR! Marshall was always the bawdy one of the crowd
- GOD LOVE HIM!
Have a great Friday- I'm sure I'll be back this weeked to see what you
all have to say about the dress ;-)
Peace and Love, KC!
P.S.- why is blogger acting funny? I post, my post runs under my
sidebar- even though it doesn't show up that way in preview. So I
modify my paragraphs to be away from the right side, and now
a couple of sentances still "stick out"???? WTF?
Sorry- I tried to fix it. muddle through everyone!
